This silkscreen of a majestic elephant was inspired by a photograph taken on an African safari, and it was commissioned as a unique birthday gift for my client's sister. The client, who grew up in South Africa, wanted to celebrate her sister in a special way. I found joy in transforming a simple image of this magnificent creature by layering vibrant colors over its naturally muted tones.
